On Thursday. 22nd September 2011, the program for felicitation of students ‘ Sanjeev  Karandak’ winners in “Purshottam Karandak” and “ Devid Karandak” was organized. The focus of this program was to congratulate the winners of Purshottam Karandak and Devid Cricket Cup for their outstanding success in both the fields. The winning students as well as their parents were honored.

The program was compared by the senior student Chinmay Kulkarni by sharing some memorable achievements about this Karandak. Chinmay has also marked on the special features of the group and their character roles . The college was awarded with the third prize in “Purshottam Karandak” known as “ Sanjeev Karandak” . In addition to this award some special awards were also received by, consolation prize to Chaitanya Sardeshpande and Gourav Pol for Best Acting , Mayuri Kanetkar – For Best Actress , Abhiraj Mokate – Best Direction, Krutarth Shah- Best Music along with Pranita Marne, Tejal Hande, Vaishnavi Acharya, Ajinkya Mane, Payal naik, Poorva Jadhav, Sanket Dhere, Avinash Khedkar and Nikita Mandavkar  were also honored.

At the later part of the , the winner of the Inter-College Cricket tournament organized by pune city Zone known as ‘David Trophy’ was honored by Principal Dr. M.D.Lawrence sir. On this memorable occasion Shri. B.G.Jadhav, Dr. J. Gaikwad and the faculty members from other departments also were present.

Avdut Dandekar , Captain of Cricket winner Team and Ameya Soman, Vice Captain accepted the honor on behalf of the team. 46 teams from pune city participated in this tournament from 2001-2001 , it was nineth  time , the team MMCC played final match for David Trophy and fifth time it is the winner. It is second consecutive year of being winner of David Trophy.
